After graduation in 1994 as Bachelor in Business Administration in The Hague I worked for many years in marketing and sales of consumer electronics. But I always felt the need to actually create something meaningfull and lasting myself. Photography in a specific non-intrusive style of people and weddings was one of my hobbies. Many people and also a renowned wedding photographer prefered my photo's to those of most professional photographers in the wedding industry at the time. After being very displeased with the results of my own wedding photographer in 2003, I decided to become one myself. Discovering that my personal style was very correspondent to the emerging photojournalistic style, all the pieces fell into place.
